Wait Upon the Lord

(Get inspired!)

Isaiah 40:30
“Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

The journey of life requires strength to keep going. There are unprecedented circumstances to face in life. Sometimes, you get to a breaking point where the initial strength you started with is exhausted and you get famished.

Even, youths who are loaded with strength (man power) to manover their way through the storms of life, the scriptures said ‘they shall faint and be weary.’ ‘The young men shall utterly fall’, because there are situations that are beyond physical human capacity to survive. If you lean on your intellectual capacity, it will come a time when it becomes useless.

The way out is to learn to wait upon the Lord at all times. Wait on him when things are going well and when they are not. The supernatural grace of God is sufficient to navigate and press upward to a higher ground.

The ‘wait’ here is not standing doing nothing. It simply means you pause to pray. You lean on God’s arm in prayer for help. Prayer room is your waiting room, until the help your heart desires come from above. A waiter waits to be instructed. Prayer is not a monologue, it is a mutual communion with God.

God bless you

I give you praise Father. I have learn to wait upon you. My eyes are on you, send help to me right now, in Jesus name. Amen!
