…creating awareness for Christians to Watch and Pray

Dave Gass, a vibrant follower of Christ for the past 40 years shared a shocking message on the social media.

Dave who was formerly the Lead Pastor at Grace Family Fellowship and has as well planted and pastored other denominations like: First Covenant Church, Cedar Point Community Church, has taken to social media to renounce his faith.

In his words, He said: “After 40 years of being a devout follower, 20 of those being an evangelical pastor, I am walking away from faith. Even though this has been a massive bomb drop in my life, it has been decades in the making.”

What could have been the reason for this decision?

Dave Gass sighted that as an high school kid when he read the Greek mythology books and he has pictured the “diety” of the Bible like what he did read in those books and this has being a seed of doubt in Him as he grow old though being a pastor.

Furthermore, He complained about his failed marriage and at such doesn’t believe Christianity can be true if it is not working for him. Hear him:

“my marriage was a sham, prayer was never answered, miracles were never performed. People died, children rebelled, marriages failed, addictions occurred – all at the same rate as non believers. The system just doesn’t work.”

It is saddened to say that this Man who has led many people in church but has always doubted Christ has finally chosen his path.

“During this time I also found something amazing: I found a handful of people who were more Christian than any Christian I had ever met – and they weren’t Christian. I found love in places where love wasn’t supposed to exist. I found acceptance among people who were godless.” He says

Let it be known to us as Christian that, which ever way, Dave Gass needs our prayers. Either a person has once being saved or has never being saved. When such a person declares his lack of Christ, our response should be intercession.

Lord Jesus! We trust You for a genuine encounter for Dave Gass for reason of your priceless blood. (Amen)
