…creating awareness for Christians to Watch and Pray

Only Very Very Few Christians have heard of the 10/40 window known as the “Home of the unreached world”. A place where poverty and diseases is like water and where Christianity is a no-go area.

Yes! it isn’t bad to be informed of the latest ride/sport in town but we shouldn’t also be inattentive to things that really matters to God, having Eternal value.

Joshua Project expressed the 10/40 Window as the rectangular area of North Africa, the Middle East and Asia approximately between 10 degrees north and 40 degrees north latitude, often called “The Resistant Belt” and includes the majority of the world’s Muslims, Hindus, and Buddhists. With an approximation of around 3.05 billion people unsaved.

  • Poverty is at its extreme
  • Outbreak of diseases is rampant
  • Lowest standard of living
  • Abuse of female gender
  • Habitation for large percentage of terrorist group
  • Strict laws by government to avoid preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Recent updates shows Non-christian populations in the 10/40 Window to be:

865 million Muslims

550 million Hindus

275 million Buddhists

140 million in 2550 tribal groups (mainly animist)

17 million Jews.

It will be a high level of wickedness if we feel unconcerned about their condition OR see no sense in the GREAT COMMISSION. You don’t have to be a missionary to influence them. Why not spend some time praying for them, giving to support missionaries in the areas or campaigning to bridge this gap between us.

Some mission agencies you might want to support are: Joshua Project,  Christian aid,  Open DoorsThe kingdom project.

As much as prosperity is good, our comfort should be to help others stand right and get God. Let’s arise and submit to God as He uses us to rescue the perishing.
